Erik ten Hag has provided Manchester United with two injury updates as Erik ten Hag’s men prepare to face Burnley at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Wednesday evening saw Bruno Fernandes haul Manchester United from the gutter as Erik ten Hag‘s men came from behind twice to defeat Sheffield United 4-2 at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
Two goals and an assist from Bruno Fernandes in the second half of the tie led to United climbing themselves back into 6th in the league table, although they still sit seven points behind Tottenham Hotspur with an extra game played.

United have had to deal with a whole number of injuries in recent months, with 12 players absent from the win over Sheffield United – and Erik ten Hag has provided a further update on seven players.
Speaking to the BBC on Wednesday night, Erik ten Hag explained that none of Lisandro Martínez, Raphaël Varane, Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelöf, Willy Kambwala, Luke Shaw, or Tyrell Malacia will return on the weekend.
Asked if any defenders will be able to feature aginst Burnley, he replied: “No, not yet (defenders returning). We have to be patient for it.”
However, Ten Hag also provided one positive update. He believes that Mason Mount will be able to return in time to play on Saturday.
“For coming back for the game against Burnley, I don’t expect (the defenders). Mason Mount, he will return, I think.”
