Manchester United expected squad vs Leicester City as BIG midfield problems solved
Manchester United are expecting to have multiple first-team players available as Ruud van Nistelrooy prepares his side to face Leicester City in the Premier League.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is preparing for his fourth game in charge as Manchester United’s interim manager as they gear up to face Leicester City in the Premier League.
Since the departure of Erik ten Hag two weeks ago, United have shown signs of recovery. They kicked off with a 5-2 win against Leicester in the Carabao Cup, followed by a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the league, and a 2-0 victory over PAOK in the Europa League.

With Rúben Amorim set to officially take over on Monday, 11 November, United are eager to finish van Nistelrooy’s interim spell on a high with a crucial win against Leicester on Sunday.
The team currently sit 13th in the league standings, with a -3 goal difference after scoring nine and conceding 12 in their first ten matches.
Midfield problems are solved
Differing from the side that faced Chelsea in the league last weekend, United are expecting to have multiple midfielders available to face Leicester City.
At points in the last weeks, United have only had Bruno Fernandes, Manuel Ugarte, and Casemiro as the club’s only senior midfielders available. However, the returns of Mason Mount and Christian Eriksen will give Van Nistelrooy much-needed flexibility.
Although multiple young players have been included in the recent squads, injury returns mean that Ethan Wheatley may be the only Academy player who will feature in the team.
A decision must be made regarding Amad Diallo. Still, the interim manager explained on Thursday that he is hopeful that the injury is not too serious, so he may be able to continue with the side despite his minor injury against PAOK.
