Manchester United confirm Rúben Amorim line-up vs Bournemouth as Joshua Zirkzee starts
Rúben Amorim has chosen to start Joshua Zirkzee as Manchester United face Bournemouth at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Rúben Amorim’s Manchester United squad are preparing to return to Premier League action as they work to improve on their current position of 13th in the table.
In their last outing, United suffered a narrow 4-3 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals. Although the result was disappointing, the team’s performance highlighted their attacking potential in a thrilling contest.
In the league, United are riding high after an unforgettable 2-1 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad. Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo delivered late-game heroics to turn the match in their favour and secure a vital three points.
Now, the focus shifts to Bournemouth, who travel to Old Trafford next. Amorim’s side will be eager to reduce the six-point gap to Nottingham Forest, who currently hold the last Champions League qualification spot.
