Man United and Borussia Dortmund in disagreement over Jadon Sancho fee as “most likely” end outlined
Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are in a disagreement about how much Jadon Sancho will cost as a “most likely” final scenario is outlined.
Jadon Sancho will not play for Manchester United again. After signing for £75 million in 2021, the winger had a falling out with Erik ten Hag in September 2023, when he refused to apologise for effectively calling the manager a liar in a public statement. He has not played for the Old Trafford club since.
In January 2024, Sancho secured a six-month loan deal to his old club, Borussia Dortmund. He has since started to thrive, scoring two goals in recent fixtures, one in the Champions League.

Many reports have been made surrounding his future, with almost all pointing in the direction that Sancho wants to stay at the Bundesliga club beyond this summer and that they want to keep him.
However, a new report from German transfer guru Florian Plettenberg has explained that Dortmund are only willing to pay up to £30 million to keep him beyond this season, which causes an issue.
Many previous pieces of information have stipulated that United want at least £50 million for Jadon Sancho as they want to recoup as much of their original investment as possible, and they also want to raise funds for their own transfers this summer.
According to German outlet BILD, United and Dortmund are now set to hold talks in May about Jadon Sancho’s future, with both parties seemingly keen to reach the same overall conclusion.
The German report further explains that, at the moment, the “most likely” scenario is that Sancho will spend a further year on loan at the Bundesliga side.
