Manchester United ‘open to offers’ for three stars as 2025 January transfer plans emerge
Manchester United are reportedly open to offers for the players as Erik ten Hag’s transfer plans for 2025 emerge.
Manchester United‘s 2024 summer transfer window saw Erik ten Hag bring in five new first-team signings, with Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, and Manuel Ugarte all joining Old Trafford.
They also had multiple sales sanctioned, raising over £120 million, with Mason Greenwood, Scott McTominay, Jadon Sancho, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and others all departing for new pastures.

Although United secured players in multiple key positions, many fans have felt that further signings are needed in new areas. According to previous reports, the club is already planning for the 2025 summer window.
However, a new report from journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed that the club are also looking at the 2025 January transfer window as an option to offload further players.
According to Jacobs, United is open to offers for Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and Victor Lindelöf, all of whom have seen their roles significantly reduced under Ten Hag in the last 12 months.
Eriksen and Lindelöf are out of contract next summer, meaning that the January window represents the final time United can demand a fee for the players.
While Casemiro’s contract does not expire until 2026, he was on the market this summer, although his wage package, believed to be around £350,000 a week, was a major deterrent for clubs looking to sign him.
United’s new regime, under Sir Jim Ratcliffe, have shown that they are ruthless with their decision-making and are happy to make short-term sacrifices for long-term success.
Casemior has not played much of a part in United’s recent games, having been dropped to the bench after a horrid performance against Liverpool at the beginning of September.
If Eriksen and Lindelöf are not sold in January, they will leave when their contracts expire at the end of June.
