Man United legend calls INEOS to reverse transfer plan surrounding “unbelievable” player
Manchester United legend Andy Cole has called for the club not to replace Luke Shaw this summer despite a series of injuries.
Luke Shaw will spend three months on the Manchester United treatment table for the second time this season after it was confirmed that he had suffered from the reoccurrence of a leg problem.
Erik ten Hag had to substitute the full-back at half-time of back-to-back fixtures before he was eventually ruled out, and he now faces a battle to be fit by the end of the campaign.

Reports of late have emerged claiming that INEOS are now looking to sign a new, young left-back this summer, and considering the number of injuries to both Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, it may be a smart idea.
However, former United striker and club legend Andy Cole believes that United do not need a new left-back this summer.
“No, I wouldn’t say that because injuries are part and parcel of football,” Cold told BetFred.
“Unfortunately, Luke has had his fair share of injuries and one nasty injury in particular. I think it’s unbelievable that he’s been able to come through that one.
“I don’t believe that Manchester United need to prioritise the signing of a left-back because when Luke is on song, he’s a very good player. I’ve seen people question whether he’s good enough to play for Manchester United, but we could be sitting here until tomorrow discussing who’s good enough to play for Manchester United and who’s not.”
