Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martínez latest as Erik ten Hag confims Anthony Martial WILL play for Manchester United again
Erik ten Hag has provided the latest injury news surrounding Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, and Lisandro Martínez following their Manchester United injuries.
Manchester United are striving to build momentum prior to the upcoming FA Cup final by gearing up to take on Burnley in the Premier League.
In their recent match, Erik ten Hag‘s squad showcased resilience, overcoming deficits twice to secure a 4-2 victory against Sheffield United at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

Bruno Fernandes played a pivotal role in the second half, contributing two goals and an assist, propelling United to claim all three points and ascend to sixth place in the league standings.
This triumph against Sheffield was United’s second Premier League win in their last eight games. These losses are partly due to the club’s injuries, which have been accumulating since the turn of 2024.
However, speaking in his pre-match press conference, Ten Hag has confirmed that three long-term absentees are set to return in the coming weeks.
When asked on Friday afternoon if any of Anthony Martial, Lisandro Martínez, and Luke Shaw will play this campaign again, the Dutch manager said: “Yes, I think we will see them all in the season.
“They all returned onto the pitch. Next week, they have to make the step into team training and they can be available for the last weeks. They progress well.”
Ten Hag also confirmed that Mason Mount is set to return against Burnley. “So same squad but apart from Mason Mount. He will return into the squad,” he explained.
