Luke Littler has sent a hilarious reply to Neal Maupay following the Brentford striker’s dig at Manchester United’s Scott McTominay.

Manchester United failed to continue their pursuit of Champions League qualification for next season, dropping two points in a 1-1 draw with Brentford on Saturday evening.

Mason Mount scored his first goal under Erik ten Hag in the 90+6th minute of the game, but an even later finish from defender Kristoffer Ajer shared the spoils at the Gtech Community Stadium, leaving United eight points adrift of Tottenham in fifth with just nine fixtures remaining.

Brentford striker Neal Maupay, who is more famous for his off-field digs than his goals in the Premier League, thought to goad United midfielder Scott McTominay after the game, posting a photo of the pair struggling during the tie, claiming the Scotland international was a fan “desperate” for his Brentford shirt.

Maupay has created a reputation for winding players up after his famous incident with James Maddison. He copied the England midfielder’s celebration earlier this season and has attempted to do the same here, albeit to a less effective result, as he had pretty much zero impact on the tie.

Luke “The Nuke” Littler, famed young darts player and avid Man United fan, has sent a hilarious and truthful reply to Maupay, pointing out his poor scoring record.

Maupay has eight goals in 30 appearances this season, fewer than Scott McTominay. So, instead of attempting to troll the Scotsman online, he could take some striking tips.
