Luke Littler reveals David Beckham message and “crazy” Man United player story

Darts sensation Luke Litter has explained a message he received from David Beckham and the “crazy” day he had with Manchester United players at Carrington.
Luke Littler‘s rise in the world of darts in the last year is similar to Kobbie Mainoo‘s spectacular impact at Manchester United since his debut in November.
Both teenagers have established themselves as some of the best young talents in their respective sports. Littler has collected multiple accolades, while Mainoo has forced himself into Erik ten Hag‘s XI and was the most recent England selection.

Since his initial burst onto the scene, Littler has become known worldwide and has received multiple interactions from some of the biggest names on the planet – and being a United fan, he has received plenty from some of the club’s legends.
However, the pinnacle of messages from ex-United players has to be David Beckham, and Littler explained what the famed No. 7 said to him.
“It’s Beckham. He sent me a message. He just said: ‘Well done on the world championships’, and he was like, ‘Once a red, always a red’,” Littler told the MMA Hour.
Littler visited Carrington earlier this season, and recounting the experience, he explained it was “crazy” to be in and around the players he has watched growing up over the last few years.
“I met them [United players] at the training ground, it was crazy,” he said. “McTominay and Maguire, they were the big ones who were excited to see me. It’s just like Rashford walking past me, shaking his hand.
“Martial, Varane, Casemiro and I’m just like, what’s going on? I got a signed shirt off Garnacho.”
