Leny Yoro is one of Manchester United’s key transfer targets this summer, and reports have explained his entourage’s stance on the situation.
The 18-year-old Lille defender has rapidly emerged as one of Europe’s top young centre-backs in the past year.
He has attracted significant interest from not only Manchester United but also Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Reds are looking to improve their defensive unit after a difficult season last term and seeing Raphaël Varane depart the club.
However, it has been claimed by many reports in recent weeks that Yoro’s preference is a move to Real Madrid.
United have had a deal accepted by Lille, however, and according to a new report from footmercato, some members of Yoro’s entourage are now pushing for the player to move to Old Trafford.
It was claimed that one of the main reasons for this is the fact that the Frenchman could quickly become a starting player in the Premier League, something that would not be guaranteed at Real Madrid in La Liga.
While the player has still not made his final decision, the report added that contract discussions are underway with United and that the English club are in a good position in the race.
United have already confirmed the signing of Joshua Zirkzee from Bolgona to improve their frontline and will be looking to improve in midfield areas as well.
Manuel Ugarte from PSG is a player who has been heavily linked with a move to the Old Trafford club.
