Leny Yoro sends Manchester United 9-word response after summer transfer talks
Leny Yoro has responded directly to Manchester United following talks with the player surrounding a Premier League move this summer.
According to reports from France, Manchester United have made a “written offer” for Leny Yoro, amounting to approximately £42 million plus unspecified bonuses.
Lille, his club, are said to have accepted this bid, as it is considerably more attractive than Real Madrid‘s, which is not close to being finalised.

Despite this, Yoro’s first choice remains Real Madrid, presenting a significant challenge for United. Nevertheless, the club is actively working to convince the player to move from Ligue 1 to the Premier League.
Subsequent reports have claimed that, while United’s offer could be as high as £50 million, Real Madrid have only sent one official offer of around £17 million, making the Red Devils’ bid much more attractive to the Ligue 1 outfit.
According to Spanish outlet Marca, Manchester United contacted and held talks with the 18-year-old last week, aiming to use him as a replacement for Varane.
However, his response to United was the same one that he had previously told Paris St. Germain and Chelsea: “I’m sorry, I want to play for Real Madrid”.
It is claimed that this is a position that is becoming “increasingly evident” to all parties involved in the situation, despite United pushing for Yoro to join them in the Premier League.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Lille are also encouraging Yoro to accept United’s proposal because it is the best proposal they’ve received.
Whatever happens, it is clear that United are becoming much more ambitious in the transfer window following the appointments of Omar Berrada, Dan Ashworth, and Jason Wilcox.
