Kobbie Mainoo injury update provided with Manchester United return date revealed
Kobbie Mainoo was forced to pull out of international duty with England last week after suffering injury for Manchester United.
Since his full Premier League debut in November 2023, Kobbie Mainoo has been one of the shining lights for Manchester United.
He scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final in May and provided mature performances in a hectic environment at Old Trafford.
Many fans were concerned about potential injuries for Mainoo after a busy opening year in the professional game. His inclusion at Euro 2024 meant almost no break in between seasons.
After suffering a knock against Tottenham Hotspur, the midfielder was back in action the following weekend against Aston Villa.
But shortly afterwards he had to pull out of the England international fixtures this month. Alejandro Garnacho, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui also pulled out of their respective international duties.
Kobbie Mainoo injury update provided
According to X account UtdMenace, who has previously broken United-related injury news, Mainoo will not be fit to return to action when Premier League action returns.
In fact, they claim that the 19-year-old is set to be ruled out for around four weeks – which could fluctuate depending on recovery and rehabilitation.
That would rule Mainoo out of action until mid November, with yet another international break coming then.
If his recovery goes well, the teenager could return for the home home against Leicester City on 10 November.
Otherwise, it is likely that Mainoo comes back into action after the international break when United face Ipswich Town away from home on 24 November.
