Kim Min-Jae hands Erik ten Hag clear Manchester United transfer boost with contract talks
Kim Min-Jae is said to be stalling on signing a new contract with his current club Napoli.
Erik ten Hag is keen to add a new central defender to his ranks this summer after Manchester United released both Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe from their contracts this summer.
This is also combined with the information that current club captain Harry Maguire is up for sale at the right price.

Maguire is gathering interest from multiple Premier League teams such as Tottenham and West Ham.
If Kim Min-Jae was to sign for Manchester United this summer, it would be in a deal worth £42 million, as this is the release clause in his contract that becomes active from 1 July.
However, according to talkSPORT, Napoli are trying to tie Min-Jae down to a new contract as soon as possible that gets rid of this release clause, amid interest from Manchester United. It is said that Min-Jae is ‘stalling’ on the offer.
Min-Jae being reluctant to sign the contract could be taken as a clear sign that he does not intend to stay at Napoli as he may desire the move to Manchester United to play under Ten Hag.
Other Italian reports have suggested that a deal is all but agreed, with personal terms not being a problem for the player.
