Jason Wilcox and Christopher Vivell completely agree about wildcard Man Utd target, he is ‘extremely high’ on their list

Jason Wilcox and Christopher Vivell completely agree about one of the wildcard options on Manchester United’s transfer list ahead of next summer.

Despite the 2025/26 season being in its early stages, Manchester United are already laying the groundwork for next summer’s transfer window.

Their recent business has been widely praised, with Bryan Mbeumo and Senne Lammens highlighted as shrewd signings. Still, noticeable gaps remain in the squad that the club hopes to fill.

Ruben Amorim is especially eager to strengthen the midfield, and several names have already been linked with moves to Old Trafford ahead of next year.

Brighton’s Carlos Baleba and Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson are among the players on United’s radar, though the club is also weighing up a more unexpected alternative.

United are not only looking to make one signing in midfield, and it is not a guarantee that the Reds can spent upwards of £60-70 million on more than one midfielder next summer.

That is the kind of price you need to spend to pry away the top talent within the Premier League, so United could look across Europe for quality in that area of the squad.

Now, according to transfer expert Ben Jacobs, Angelo Stiller is a midfielder who is ‘extremely high’ on the list at Old Trafford.

The Bundesliga star is an exciting talent and it is also claimed that he is a player appreciated by both of United’s transfer leads in Jason Wilcox and Christopher Vivell.

Speaking to The United Stand, “In addition to Baleba and on a par with Baleba, Angelo Stiller is also extremely high in Manchester United’s thinking as well and is backed and liked by both Jason Wilcox and Christopher Vivell.”

Would Stiller be a good option for United?

Stiller is becoming a name that United fans are aware of and it would not be surprising if he is a genuine target in the summer.

Even though he is a wildcard option compared to the other Premier League talent on United’s list, the German midfielder still has clear quality.

United would have to assess whether he can fit into a midfield two, as that is the system played under Amorim at Old Trafford.

But with the leaders at the club clearly in agreement about his quality, Stiller could be one to watch when the summer window draws closers.
