Huge Jadon Sancho transfer talks update as Manchester United’s Sékou Koné transfer fee revealed
Talks for Jadon Sancho to leave Manchester United this summer are ‘underway’ as the club edges closer to signing young talent Sékou Koné.
Manchester United have just days left of their 2024 summer transfer window to finalise the remaining incomings and outgoings at Old Trafford.
While signing Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui, Manchester United for around £139 million, they have also raised over £60 million by selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Mason Greenwood, Willy Kambwala, among others.

While many players have already departed, one who still may leave in the coming days is Jadon Sancho, and a big update surfaced out of Italy on Thursday evening.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus recently returned to the table to negotiate for the player. In a big twist, they are now reportedly willing to agree to a loan with an obligation to buy at £40 million.
This is the fee that United have stood firm on for Sancho all summer, and it seems that the Serie A club are willing to pay the number as long as the transfer fee is delayed by a season.
However, it is also added that Sancho’s wages, reportedly around £300,000 a week, are a problem for the Bianconeri—this would have to be sorted out between the player and the club.
Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano has explained that United will pay £1 million for 2006-born Mali midfielder Sékou Koné from Guidars FC. His fee will also include several add-ons based on his performances at the club.
His documents will be signed after his medical at Carrington next week, and the club consider the defensive midfielder a “smart investment” for the future.
