Jadon Sancho seems likely to stay at Manchester United this summer despite recent interest from Ligue 1 club Paris St. Germain.

Jadon Sancho, 24, was away for the second half of last season with Manchester United following a clash with manager Erik ten Hag, who excluded him from a squad for a match against Arsenal at the beginning of last campaign.

Ten Hag cited poor training performances as the reason for Sancho’s absence last August, which Sancho publicly disputed. This led to his immediate removal from the squad in September and a six-month loan to Borussia Dortmund in January.

Despite expectations of a summer sale, Sancho recently had a long discussion with Ten Hag, resolving their issues. Sancho is now back with the United team and actively participating in pre-season training.

However, reports have further explained that the English winger remains on the transfer market should any club match United’s £40 million valuation, with reports that both Serie A’s Juventus and Ligue 1 outfit Paris St. Germain were interested.

However, with Juventus reportedly pulling out of a deal due to financial demands, PSG were the only club interested in his signature. There were reports that he had agreed to terms with PSG but that he was not their No. 1 priority.

In a new report, RMC Sport has effectively confirmed that Sancho will not leave United this summer. Despite the recent links, Sancho is “not a hot lead” for the Paris club this summer.

It was said that PSG had “taken the temperature” with United surrounding a potential deal for Sancho but did not go any further, and there are no indications that they will.

With no other clubs seemingly interested in Sancho this summer, it is increasingly likely that he will remain at Old Trafford under Ten Hag after the pair settled their differences and started working together again.

Sancho has been occupying the false 9 role during United’s recent pre-season fixtures following Rasmus Højlund’s injury and may start when the club play Manchester City on Saturday afternoon in the Comunity Shield.
