INEOS decision leaves Jadon Sancho’s Manchester United return ‘open’
According to reports, Jadon Sancho may still have a way back into Manchester United depending on a major decision by INEOS.
Jadon Sancho‘s future at Manchester United was thought to be written on the wall after his public spat with Erik ten Hag left him frozen out of the first-team squad.
Sancho is spending the remainder of the 2023/24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund after he publically claimed Ten Hag was lying about why he was being left out of a squad to face Arsenal in September.

However, new information from Football Insider has claimed that a final decision on Sancho’s future is now being postponed until the end of the season.
It is claimed that should Erik ten Hag be sacked by INEOS, who are now in charge of all football operations and appointments at the club, before the end of the season, one of Football Insider’s sources has claimed Sancho could still “have a part to play” at Old Trafford in the future.
Although United’s refusal to sack Ten Hag during a poor time at the end of 2023 has allowed the manager to somewhat revive his squad during the opening six weeks of 2024, his future is still in the balance.
Preivous reports have stated that Ten Hag’s future still hangs in the balance, with INEOS still taking a view on who the best man for the job going forward is, with that being either Ten Hag or otherwise.
United are reportedly open to letting Sancho leave this summer for a fee of between £40-50 million, but there is yet to be any definitive confirmation relating to whether he will be kept or sold beyond the remainder of this campaign.
