Despite the summer window ending, A Manchester United midfield target has dropped a major hint regarding his future, amid speculation.
Manchester United topped off a successful summer transfer window on deadline day with the late addition of Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.
The Belgian goalkeeper was the Reds’ fourth signing of the summer, following the attacking acquisitions of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
There have been no new midfielders added to Ruben Amorim’s squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign, despite many players being linked to the club.
One of these potential targets, Angelo Stiller, has now spoken out about his future and even touched on the possibility of moving abroad to the Premier League.
Stiller stays at Stuttgart
Since the beginning of the window, it was apparent that United may be slightly thin in the midfield department, and that new additions could be more than useful.
This however, was not acted upon, despite links to players such as Carlos Baleba, Conor Gallagher, and the aforementioned Stiller.
As for Stiller, the VFB Stuttgart midfielder has been in fine form for his side over the past two seasons, and has caught the attention of many top clubs around Europe.
Despite all the attention, Stiller has stayed put, at least for now, having given an update on his future to a media outlet in Germany, via Manchester Evening News.
Stiller admires ‘cool’ Wirtz move
According to German outlet SportsBILD, Stiller said: “I’m currently not thinking about a move. Generally speaking, I’m interested in moving abroad at some point; I thought that Florian Wirtz’s decision to go to Liverpool was cool.
“But only one thing is certain for me: At the end of my career, I absolutely want to play in the USA, in the MLS. This is 100 per cent my plan, my goal.”

Clearly, the 24-year-old has his sights set on a move abroad at some point, and would be enticed by the opportunity to play in the Premier League like his national teammate Wirtz.
As the summer window has now shut, only time will tell what may happen regarding United’s midfield department, although Stiller could be a viable option for the future.
