Manchester United return to Premier League action after Christmas with a difficult game against relegation-threatened Wolves.

Ruben Amorim’s side have had mixed results since he took charge last month, but they are coming off the back of their worst game yet.

United will be aiming to bounce back from a disappointing 3-0 defeat against Bournemouth on the weekend.

This game won’t be easy either, with Wolves’ new manager Vítor Pereira getting off to the perfect start with a 3-0 win against Leicester City.

United had the perfect opportunity to move closer to the Premier League’s top four on the weekend but now simply have to focus on going from game-to-game.

All of the details you need to watch this upcoming clash can be read below.

Kick-off time & venue

Fresh from enjoying your Christmas Day, the Reds will be playing their Boxing Day fixture against Wolves on the 26 December, with kick-off at 17:30 GMT.

United will be travelling away from home to play at the Molineux Stadium, where they have won in their last four visits, including when Kobbie Mainoo scored a dramatic last-minute winner.

The last time United lost to Wolves at their ground was back in the 2018/19 season, with Scott McTominay’s goal not being enough in the 2-1 defeat.

TV channel & livestreams

In the United Kingdom, the game will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, with livestreams and international coverage available here.

The UtdDistrict X account will also cover the fixture, providing quotes from Amorim and the players before and after the match.

Latest team news

It remains to be seen whether Marcus Rashford will be available for this clash after he was left out of the three most recent games.

Matthijs de Ligt has been out with illness this week but Amorim will hope to have the important defender available for this tough encounter.

Luke Shaw and Mason Mount remain out of action through injuries, while Victor Lindelöf also seems unlikely to return to the fold so soon after a recent setback.

The remainder of the squad are fit for the game but Amorim will likely continue with his heavy-rotation approach to try and avoid more injuries.
