Player Ratings: Manchester United 0-3 Bournemouth (Premier League)
Manchester United lost 3-0 against Bournemouth in their Premier League encounter at Old Trafford.
The Reds conceded once again from a set-piece, which is something that Ruben Amorim and his coaching team must address sooner rather than later.
Despite United having a fine performance, they were toothless in attack and a poor challenge from Noussair Mazraoui early in the second half gave Bournemouth a chance to double their lead, which they did.
United keep on falling apart soon after conceding and it happened again, with a third coming two minutes after the penalty.
Amorim’s side huffed and puffed but did not look like scoring even if the game lasted 30 minutes longer.
The player ratings can be read below.
Man Utd player ratings vs Bournemouth
André Onana – 5/10
OK display, can’t really be blamed for any of the goals.
Noussair Mazraoui – 4/10
He was good but it was a stupid decision to go down in the box.
Harry Maguire – 6/10
Some decent passes through into midfield.
Lisandro Martínez – 6/10
Some good moments on the ball.
Diogo Dalot – 6/10
A decent game.
Manuel Ugarte – 8/10
Some really good tackles and passes. United’s best player and the game seemed to slip away after he came off.
Kobbie Mainoo – 4/10
His worst game in a good while. Struggled in the middle.
Tyrell Malacia – 4/10
Struggled early on in the first half and gave away two silly fouls on the byline, one led to Bournemouth’s opener. Subbed at half-time.
Amad Diallo – 6/10
Created some good chances. Needed to get on the ball more.
Bruno Fernandes – 4/10
Wasteful with some great chances and cannot take a corner to save his life. Not good.
Joshua Zirkzee – 4/10
Should have done better in the air for the opener. Didn’t offer much.
Substitutes
Leny Yoro – 6/10
Alejandro Garnacho – 6/10
Rasmus Højlund – 4/10
