Manchester United are now preparing for their third game of the 2025 pre-season against Bournemouth.

After kicking off their US tour with a 2-1 win over West Ham, Manchester United now shift focus to their next pre-season test against Bournemouth in the Premier League Summer Series.

Bruno Fernandes was the standout performer in the opener, scoring both goals to help Rúben Amorim’s side win the game. This comes after a 0-0 draw against Leeds in Sweden.

With momentum building and fitness improving, United will be aiming to continue their progress as they take on Andoni Iraola’s side in their second fixture of the tournament.

United vs Bournemouth: Date, kick-off time and venue

After playing in New Jersey on the weekend, United will stay in Chicago for this clash. They will play at the 61,500-capacity Soldier Field Stadium.

The game will be played at 20:30 CDT on Wednesday, 30 July although in the United Kingdom, kick-off comes at 02:30 BST in the early hours of Thursday morning.

In the United Kingdom, the game will be available to watch on the club’s own channel MUTV, as well as Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League. Meanwhile, international coverage and livestreams can be found here.

Amorim has already confirmed that Bryan Mbeumo is not expected to make his debut in this game, but instead against Everton in the final game of the US tour.

“He’s not going to play the next one, we hope to have Bryan in the last game [of the US tour], he’s training now so we’ll see,” the United boss said on the weekend.

Noussair Mazraoui and Joshua Zirkzee also missed the last outing with small knocks. It remains to be seen whether they will be back for this clash.

Meanwhile, André Onana has returned to training after his hamstring injury and Amorim could provide further updates on him ahead of the game.
