How to watch Manchester United vs Real Betis: Kick-off time, TV channel & more
Manchester United will face La Liga side Real Betis on Thursday in the second pre-season match of their United States tour this summer.
Erik ten Hag’s team had already played two friendly matches against Rosenborg in Norway and Rangers in Scotland before they jetted off to America.
United then faced Arsenal in their opening tour game and lost 2-1 in regular time but won the penalty shootout at the end of the game.
Focus is now on facing Real Betis and then rivals Liverpool, now managed by Arne Slot after Jurgen Klopp’s departure, before returning to England next week to play in the Community Shield against Manchester City.
The full details of how to watch the upcoming clash can be read below.
Kick-off time and venue
United are travelling away from their training base in Los Angeles for this encounter. The game will be played at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego in the early hours on Thursday morning.
Those in the UK will either be setting their alarms or drinking some coffee, because the kick-off time for this clash is at 03:00 BST – and we’ve seen delayed starts in two of the three games so far this summer.
TV Channel
The game will be broadcast live on MUTV, as well as on the Manchester United website and app. Full match replays and highlights will be available shortly after the game.
The UtdDistrict X account will cover the fixture, providing quotes from Ten Hag and the players before and after the match.
Latest squad news
While Joshua Zirkzee returned to training at Carrington this week, it has been confirmed that the Netherlands international will not be joining the squad on tour.
Instead, he will be working on his fitness in Manchester and could be in line for his debut in the Community Shield against Manchester City.
Meanwhile, Victor Lindelöf is back in contention to play after missing the opening three pre-season fixtures with an injury.
There have not yet been updates on Leny Yoro or Rasmus Højlund, but it is very unlikely either player is involved against Betis.
