Manchester United face Arsenal in the Premier League next as Ruben Amorim aims to cause an upset for Mikel Arteta’s title-chasers.

Ruben Amorim has won twice and drawn once as Manchester United boss so far, with a convincing 4-0 victory against Everton coming on the weekend.

The United head coach will be happy with how his players have adapted to his demands in the new system so far.

However, the game against Arsenal will provide a more difficult test for the squad, with Mikel Arteta’s side currently second in the league.

Already nine points away from Liverpool at top-spot, Arsenal are in a period where every game is a must-win if they are going to keep their title hopes alive.

That also means there is little for United to lose as they approach this game. With their new man in charge, the Reds will be aiming to cause an upset.

Kick-off time and venue

This game will be played on Wednesday, 4 December at 20:00 GMT and United will be travelling away from home for the second time under Amorim’s leadership.

United have a poor record at the Emirates Stadium in recent years, with their last win at the stadium coming in January 2019.

TV channel and livestreams

In the United Kingdom, the game will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, with livestreams and international coverage available here.

The UtdDistrict X account will also cover the fixture, providing quotes from Amorim and the players before and after the match.

Early team news

Amorim has suggested that Leny Yoro could return to the squad for the first time after his pre-season injury.

The French defender suffered his setback in a friendly against Arsenal and could make his competitive debut for the club against the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelöf look set to miss out on the game, with both defenders unavailable through injuries.

Otherwise, Amorim has a fully fit squad. Bruno Fernandes came off early against Everton and had an ice-pack on his ankle, but the manager has confirmed that he will be available to face Arteta’s side.
