Højlund, Malacia update – Manchester United injury news vs Fulham (Premier League)
Manchester United have been handed another injury blow as Erik ten Hag prepares his team to face Fulham in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Erik ten Hag will be without Rasmus Højlund for at least the next two weeks as Manchester United prepare to face Fulham in the Premier League, with the club confirming that he has suffered a muscle injury.
United have confirmed that Højlund will be out of action for two or three weeks with the problem, confirming that he will miss Fulham (H), Nottingham Forest (A, FA Cup), Manchester City (A), and potentially Everton (H) and Sheffield United (H), too.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka remains sidelined for at least another two weeks while Mason Mount edges closer to a return for the Reds, but he will not be able to face Fulham.
Lisandro Martínez and Anthony Martial are both set to remain on the treatment table until the beginning of April, while Luke Shaw is now facing a battle to get fit for the end of the season after it was confirmed that he has suffered a problem that will keep him out for around three months.
There is still no return date set for Tyrell Malacia, who has undergone two knee surgeries since the end of last season and has not played a minute of football. However, the Manchester Evening News has suggested that he may return to training on the grass next week but that he is still a few weeks away from availability.

On the flip side, it has been revealed that Omari Forson will be handed his first Premier League start in light of Højlund’s injury.
It is claimed that Forson, who is rated highly by Ten Hag, will be favoured over Amad against Fulham on Saturday afternoon, lining up in the XI at Old Trafford.
Forson has made three appearances off the bench for United so far this season and assisted Kobbie Mainoo in his winning goal against Wolves last month.
For Fulham, Joao Palhinha will serve the first of a two-match suspension for picking up 10 yellow cards in the league, while Raul Jimenez remains sidelined with a hamstring problem.
Marco Silva confirmed on Thursday that although winger Willian still needs to undergo a fitness test, Armando Broja could feature against the Reds on Saturday after overcoming a virus.
“We’re still assessing Willian,” Silva said. “All the other players, they are probably going to be available, even Willian, but we have to do a little bit more [assessment].
“Broja wasn’t well and wasn’t in a condition to be involved in the game [last Saturday against Aston Villa], but he’s okay.”
