‘Highly unlikely’ – Jadon Sancho’s Borussia Dortmund loan hits transfer snag
Jadon Sancho’s loan to Borussia Dortmund has hit a snag after it’s been revealed that it is highly unlikely that he will travel to meet the team today.
All reports relating to Jadon Sancho‘s six-month loan to Borussia Dortmund from Manchester United have pointed to the information that the German club are looking to get the deal over the line this week.
This is because they want Sancho to leave Erik ten Hag‘s club to join them in their training camp in Marbella on Friday, where they are playing two friendly fixtures during their winter break, with the first coming on Saturday afternoon.

However, reports from Germany now indicate that Sancho is highly likely that he will no longer travel to Spain on Friday as negotiations between the two clubs have not been finalised.
There are still issues to be worked out in relation to fees and how much each club will contribute to his current wages – it is thought that United will have to end up committing to over 50 per cent of them.
It is thought that the final package will amount to around £3 million, but this is yet to be confirmed.
Sancho has not played football since August after he was banished from all first-team activities for claiming Erik ten Hag was scapegoating him in the media for poor performances from his team.
He was dropped from the squad to face Arsenal, with Ten Hag citing poor training performances as the reason, with Sancho releasing a statement after the fixture stating his innocence.
