Full Manchester United squad to face Bayern Munich – One player returns from injury

Neither Mason Mount nor Raphaël Varane have returned to the Manchester United squad as Erik ten Hag prepares his squad to face Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich take shape as Manchester United‘s first opponents for the 2023/24 Champions League season, with Erik ten Hag‘s squad suffering an injury crisis.

Despite the club having 10 players injured, they have been boosted by the return of Tom Heaton, although neither Mason Mount nor Raphaël Varane feature, despite training on Tuesday morning.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka became the latest player to join the treatment tables with a hamstring injury that could keep him out for up to two months, while Kobbie Mainoo and new signing Sofyan Amarabat both took part in individual training sessions on Tuesday morning.
