Manchester United will take on Bayern Munich in their opening fixture of the 2023/24 Champions League campaign.

After their start to see season has seen Manchester United lose three of their opening five fixtures of the Premier League season, Erik ten Hag‘s focus switches to the Champions League.

The club currently have 11 players unavailable for the tie, which represents a significant challenge for the Reds.

Meanwhile, Thomas Tuchel will not be available for Bayern Munich as he is currently serving a one-match touchline ban due to an incident at the end of last campaign.

Manchester United’s fixture against Bayern Munich at the Allianz will be broadcast in the UK on TNT Sports 2 at 20:00 BST on Wednesday 20 September.

Radio coverage will be provided by both talkSPORT Radio UK and BBC Radio 5 Live. The official stream will be available on the TNT Sports app, which requires a subscription to use.

In the USA, the tie will be shown on Paramount+, while those in the UAE will be able to watch on beIN Sports English, Premium 1, and SPORTS CONNECT.
