Manchester United remain the most popular European football club in the United States of America, according to a recent survey.
Manchester United have a long history of association with the United States of America, having embarked on many a pre-season tour there, and of course are currently owned by the American business family, the Glazers.
Erik ten Hag‘s recent pre-season tour saw his squad play a number of fixtures across multiple cities within the USA, and this has no doubt helped the club boost their ratings across the country once again.
According to a survey performed by CasinosEnLigne, Manchester United received 18% of the votes from the survey, blowing all other competition out of the water.
Manchester City and Chelsea came second in the poll, receiving 8% of the vote each, while Liverpool, Arsenal, and Barcelona all received 7%.
Real Madrid, who many believe to be the most popular club in the world, only amassed 5% of the total votes.
Manchester United’s American and global fanbase continues to grow, with Ed Woodward famously claiming that the club have over 1 billion fans worldwide.
