Manchester United have agreed deals with Bayern Munich for the transfers of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui this summer.

The pair will become the two newest additions to Erik ten Hag’s side after the signings of Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee earlier this summer.

It was revealed by David Ornstein that the Reds had agreed a deal for both players, with De Ligt’s price being at £38.6 million with a further £4.2 million in add-ons.

The reporter then explained that the Mazraoui deal was agreed at £12.8 million plus the same £4.2 million in add-ons.

It was then added that the move for the right-back is still subject to Aaron Wan-Bissaka finalising his Manchester United exit. United have agreed a £15 million fee with West Ham for the player.

Ornstein also revealed that Wan-Bissaka has a medical at the London-based side pencilled in for Sunday or Monday.

Fabrizio Romano followed this up by announcing the Here We Go for Wan-Bissaka’s move to West Ham. Samuel Luckhurst explained that United were prepared to recompense the 26-year-old to make up the shortfall in his salary at West Ham, which appeared to be the sticking point in the deal.

He then added that United agreed to pay the fee for De Ligt over three years.

Sky Germany have explained that the add-ons in the deal for the Dutchman are considered easily achievable, with his medical set to take place in the coming days – with the same information stated for Mazraoui.

United will be hoping that De Ligt, in particular, is signed in time for the opening Premier League fixture against Fulham on Friday.

Ten Hag currently has three fit first-team centre-backs at his disposal due to Yoro’s injury and Lindelöf’s knock.
