Footage has emerged of Liverpool under-18 player Luca Furnell-Gill appearing to throw a punch at Manchester United’s academy forward Ethan Wheatley.
Manchester United‘s U18s continued their flawless streak to the U18 football league with a brilliant 4-2 victory over Liverpool on Tuesday evening.
The academy squad have won all 14 of their league fixtures so far this season, with Ethan Wheatley, in particular, scoring a wonderful volley.

However, one incident during the game occurred where Luca Furnell-Gill, central defender for Liverpool, seems to punch the forward in question during a wrestle in the game.
Furnell-Gill also elbowed Wheatley later on in the fixture, with one fan calling for a “significant ban” for the Liverpool academy player.
United sit at the top of the tree with a huge 42 points, with Manchester City in second with just 25 – although the cross-city counterparts have played two games fewer.
