Fabrizio Romano hints at four Manchester United transfers in the coming weeks
Fabrizio Romano has hinted at four potential Manchester United transfers, which could happen in the coming weeks.
The Reds have made the decision that Erik ten Hag will remain at the club following the completion of INEOS’ end-of-season review.
Ten Hag and the club are now looking forward to bringing in players during the summer transfer window. Several players are linked with an Old Trafford move.
Jarrad Branthwaite has already agreed personal terms with United and the Reds have had their opening offer for the defender rejected by Everton.
Fabrizio Romano has since provided additional context on United’s transfer priorities in the coming weeks.
The transfer expert has detailed that it will be a busy next few weeks following recent enquiries over a midfielder.
A centre-forward, centre-back, midfielder and left-back are all signings that the Reds could look at making progress in during the next weeks, the reporter concluded.
“It will be a busy summer in general at United as they need a new striker, but also a new left-back and centre-back,” he told his Daily Briefing.
“And I’m hearing that in the last 24-48 hours, they also made some enquiries on the market over a new midfielder. They are exploring options in midfield, especially in the case of Casemiro leaving, which remains a strong possibility.
United are assessing options and have started to make moves to strengthen their midfield – we will see who it’s going to be and what United are going to do, but for sure they are going to be really busy in the next weeks.
“So keep an eye on potential new arrivals at centre-back, left-back, striker, and midfield.”
