Erik ten Hag sends Manchester United fans clear message about Marcus Rashford
Erik ten Hag has asked Manchester United fans to be patient with Marcus Rashford after the Premier League loss against Crystal Palace.
Marcus Rashford has been heavily criticised this season for his performances, having scored just one goal in the eight games he has played under Erik ten Hag so far this campaign.
The Manchester United winger has been averaging over four shots a game across all competitions this season, including nine against Brighton – he has an xG of over 2.5 so far this season, and just one goal to show for it.

With United needing a goal or two against Palace, Rashford was substituted in the 77th minute, which some took as a sign that he is not performing to the standards that Ten Hag wants.
Speaking in his press conference after the fixture, Ten Hag admitted that Rashford is not up to his maximum level – but has urged patience.
“It will come but it’s not coming automatically,” he said on Marcus Rashford after the game.
“He has to invest a lot, the team has to invest a lot around him. Today we were in good positions but we made the wrong decisions.”
Manchester United will host Galatasaray in the Champions League at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening as the club looks to make amends for the 4-3 defeat in Munich two weeks ago.
