Erik ten Hag reveals he dropped Marcus Rashford due to discipline issues vs Wolves

Marcus Rashford has been dropped ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League encounter against Wolves on Saturday afternoon.
Rashford, 25, has scored 10 goals for The Reds this season and was on the scoresheet against Nottingham Forest last time out.
However, Alejandro Garnacho starts ahead of him at the Molineux.
When asked why he dropped United’s top goalscorer to the bench on BT Sport, Ten Hag blunted responded: “Internal disciplinary.”
He was then asked to elaborate.
“No [details]. Our rules. Now focus on the game. He is in very good form and no-one can play all the games.”
The forward will be an option from the bench for United as they look to end 2022 on a high note. They could sneak into the top four if Tottenham Hotspur slip up against Aston Villa on New Year’s Day.

Garnacho has impressed since coming into the squad under Ten Hag this season. He has two goals and two assists this term.
“We have a good team and Alejandro comes in. He did really well in the last couple of games and made huge progress,” added Ten Hag.
“I am expecting him to contribute and expecting him to bring his skills.”
