Erik ten Hag “reluctant” to sell Mason Greenwood with Manchester United preferred choice revealed
Manchester United are reportedly leaning towards loaning Mason Greenwood out next season.
Mason Greenwood has not been a part of the Manchester United squad since January 2022 after videos of the player harming and threatening to kill his girlfriend circulated on social media.
Greenwood was quickly arrested by local police and further arrested on other charges, with the player spending a total of three nights in a jail cell.

Although the Crown Prosecution Service started to build a case against Greenwood, their case was eventually dropped due to a lack of key evidence and witnesses.
Since then, United have been hosting their own internal investigation into the matter as the club decide what the best course of action to take is in relation to Greenwood’s future.
It has now been revealed by Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News that the club are considering loaning the player as Erik ten Hag is reluctant to see Greenwood leave on a permanent basis.
It was revealed last week that Greenwood has already put his mansion up for rent for a five-figure monthly sum, which hinted that a loan move may be on the cards.
Greenwood is said to have loan offers from AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Juventus.
