Erik ten Hag: Rasmus Højlund’s training shows he will score Premier League goals
Manchester United are set to face Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League, with Ten Hag backing Rasmus Højlund will find his feat in the Premier League.
Manchester United‘s highly anticipated trip to Anfield on Sunday afternoon is surrounded by talk of the 7-0 loss last season, with Erik ten Hag‘s men looking to redeem themselves after the embarrassing defeat.
They recently crashed out of the Champions League with a 1-0 defeat against Bayern Munich that saw them exit European competition entirely, finishing bottom of Group A.

With Europe now out of the question for the remainder of the season, Ten Hag’s Reds return their focus to the Premier League, where they will be looking to climb back to the top four of the table.
A lot has been made about Rasmus Højlund’s lack of Premier League goals, with the player scoring exclusively in the Champions League so far.
Ten Hag was asked if he still believes Højlund has the tools to score and succeed in England’s top division, with the manager confident that he will start bagging the goals needed.
He’s scored in the highest level in the Champions League with five goals,” he said on Friday.
“That’s a huge performance from a young player, and you see he has the potential. I’m sure he will get there and score in the Premier League. I see how he works in training.”
Højlund is expected to start against Liverpool as a striker after the manager confirmed that Anthony Martial will not feature.
United currently sit sixth in the league, six points off Manchester City in fourth place, and will need to grab unexpected points against league leaders Liverpool or risk falling even further behind the pack heading into the Christmas calendar.
