Erik ten Hag provides Mason Mount injury update ahead of Man United vs Bournemouth
Mason Mount has been unavailable for selection for Manchester United since the international break due to injury.
The Reds have struggled this season, particularly in making their midfield display a balance, regardless of the personnel.
Mount, 24, was signed in the summer from Chelsea to slot into the engine room, but it hasn’t worked so smoothly. That has been down to both the form of the team and the injury troubles he has suffered.

The English midfielder has had two layouts which have kept him out of several games, which has also meant he has not had time to get consistent game-time in the team.
He was ruled out for a number of weeks after the latest international break, and manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Mount will not be available for the team’s clash against Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Speaking to MUTV ahead of the game, Ten Hag confirmed that other than the absence of Victor Lindelöf, the squad to face Bournemouth will be “pretty much the same” as that which beat Chelsea in midweek (plus the return of Raphaël Varane), which Mount was not a part of.
United have since confirmed that Marcus Rashford is a doubt for the game after he did not train with the rest of the team on Friday afternoon through illness.
United will be looking to get one step closer to the top four. They sit three points away from Manchester City and are level on points with Tottenham Hotspur, who face Newcastle this weekend.
