Erik ten Hag provides line-up hint for Man United’s clash vs Chelsea
Manchester United face Chelsea in the Premier League on Wednesday evening, and Erik ten Hag has spoken about the latest updates on his squad.
The Reds will be aiming to bounce back from a miserable performance against Newcastle United, where they deservedly lost 1-0 at St James’ Park.
Whilst performances have been lacking all season long, Ten Hag’s side remain in a somewhat favourable position in the Premier League considering.
They are five points away from the top four but must remain in the conversation following their tough December schedule.
Chelsea offer a dilemma of the unknown. They have been both brilliant and terrible this season under Mauricio Pochettino and United will not know exactly what they’ll be up against on Wednesday evening.

However, despite the struggles against The Magpies, the United manager has suggested that he is going to keep a similar line-up in this upcoming clash.
When asked by club media if it will be the same group that played Newcastle to face Chelsea, Ten Hag replied: “More or less, yeah.”
He added: “[It’s] a selection, and players have to prove themselves all the time. It’s not that we are without players. I think, every time, we can put out a strong selection.”
United are without the likes of Mason Mount, Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Jonny Evans, Amad and Christian Eriksen through injury.
“There are some positives,” he revealed when asked about those closer to a return. “But not back already in the squad.”
United’s clash against Chelsea comes at a later kick-off time of 20:15 GMT on Wednesday evening, broadcasted live on Amazon Prime Sports.
