Erik ten Hag confirms fitness latest on four players ahead of Liverpool clash
Manchester United are set to face Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League, with Ten Hag confirming that Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw are available against Liverpool.
Manchester United have had a monumental injury crisis this season, with Erik ten Hag having had almost every player unavailable for selection at some point in the season.
United are currently light in central midfield, with Casemiro, Mason Mount, and Christian Eriksen, among others being unavailable in recent months, and Bruno Fernandes is suspended for the upcoming game against Liverpool.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday afternoon’s clash, Ten Hag has confirmed the fitness latest of four players.
“Harry Maguire will not be available (against Liverpool), but we don’t think it will be a long period of unavailability,” Ten Hag said on Friday afternoon.
He also confirmed that Anthony Martial is not fit to play but that both Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford have returned to training and will be available for selection on Sunday.
Luke Shaw trained this morning, so we think he’s available for Sunday,” he said. “Marcus Rashford will be back, Martial not.”
Lisandro Martínez and Casemiro both remain sidelined until 2024, with Tyerll Malaica having suffered a recent setback that pushes his return date past the new year as well. Martínez and Casemiro have been pictured training individually on grass in recent weeks.
Amad Daillo is back training on grass but is not expected to be a part of the side that travels to Anfield this weekend.
