Raphael Varane starts Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers confirm their XIs as they face off in the Premier League at Old Trafford.

Manchester United and Erik ten Hag have had a week’s rest for the first time in months.

After dropping eight points across their last five fixtures in the Premier League, the last week has come at a good time to allow the squad to reset ahead of the final four fixtures of the season.

Speaking ahead of the fixture in his pre-match press conference, Ten Hag noted this.

“We had a week and we needed it, to make a rest, to reload, recharge,” he said. “To get the energy back, because we had a lack of it in both games, in the last two games. I see a lot of energy, joy on the pitch and so we could also work in detail on some facts. So it was good.”
