Confirmed Match Officials: Manchester United vs Bournemouth (Premier League)
Manchester United will host AFC Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening as they look to cement their place in the Premier League’s top four.
Erik ten Hag’s men leapfrogged Tottenham Hotspur last gameweek after their 1-0 win away against Wolves. They currently sit fourth; two points off Newcastle (with a game-in-hand) and four off Manchester City.
United have won their last five games and will aim to continue that fine form in 2023.
Here are the confirmed match officials for the upcoming fixture at the Theatre of Dreams:
Match Referee
Michael Salisbury will be taking charge of the encounter at Old Trafford. It will be his first time refereeing a United game in his career.
He has officiated seven Premier League games so far this season and brandished 29 cards, including a second yellow card offence.
Assistant Referees
Adrian Holmes and Steven Meredith will be flanking Salisbury on the day. Holmes is experienced in England’s top flight, with 198 fixtures under his belt as an assistant.
Meanwhile, Meredith is just 11 games into his Premier League career. He has held the flag for over 200 Championship matches.

Alongside Ten Hag and Gary O’Neil on the touchline will be David Coote as the fourth official.
