Confirmed Match Officials: Crystal Palace vs Manchester United (Premier League)
Manchester United travel to Selhurst Park on Wednesday evening to face Crystal Palace in a Premier League clash that could propel The Reds to second in the league.
That might only be for around 24 hours, with Manchester City facing Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday, but will ensure United remain in top form and confidence ahead of their visit to The Emirates on the weekend to face table-topping Arsenal.
Erik ten Hag’s men will be confident heading into the game, with new signing Wout Weghorst likely to make his debut for the club after joining on loan from Burnley last week.
Here are the confirmed match officials for the upcoming encounter.
Match Referee
Robert Jones will be in charge of proceedings in the capital. He led United’s away win against Wolves on New Year’s Eve.
It will be his 35th time refereeing in the Premier League and all eyes will be on whether Manchester United get another favourable decision after a fortunate offside call in their favour during their dominant display against Manchester City on the weekend.
Assistant Referees
Adam Nunn and Nick Hopton will be assisting Jones on the evening, with the pair having over 300 top-flight games in England under their belt.
Video Assistant Referees (VAR)
Neil Swarbrick will be in charge of things at Stockley Park, with Neil Davies being his assistant on the monitors.
Fourth Official
Stuart Attwell, who was front and centre of the controversial Bruno Fernandes goal in the derby, will be alongside Ten Hag and Patrick Viera on the touchline this time around.
