Confirmed Match Officials: Barcelona vs Manchester United (Europa League)
Manchester United travel to Spain this week to face Barcelona in the first leg of their round-of-32 encounter against Barcelona.
The Reds will be eager to test themselves against one of the most in-form teams in Europe, with Casemiro returning to the travelling squad.
Much controversy has been made of the refereeing decisions in recent weeks across the Premier League. United will be hoping that the same focus will not be attributed to the officiating team for this game.

Match Referee
Maurizio Mariani will be leading the Camp Nou encounter and it will be his first time refereeing in the competition this season.
He has managed three Champions League fixtures this term and also eight Serie A games. The 40-year-old has refereed five games in the cup competition across his career and 309 overall.
Assistant Referees
Alberto Tegoni and Daniele Bindoni will be assisting their fellow countryman. The pair have 367 fixtures with the flag between them and 17 in the Europa League.
Video Assistant Referees (VAR)
In what seems like it’s becoming the most scrutinised role amongst the officials, Marco Guida will be leading proceedings behind the scenes. His assistant will be Fabio Maresca.
Fourth Official
Miloš Gigovic will be the one on the touchline between Xavi and Erik ten Hag. Luckily for him, the pair have a clear respect for each other and it’s unlikely that tempers are heightened on the evening.
