Erik ten Hag has been boosted by the return of four Manchester United players as his team travels to Spain to face Sevilla in the second leg of their Europa League clash.

The Reds let a two-goal lead slip at Old Trafford in the first leg of the quarter-final against the La Liga side.

It was a nightmare scenario for United, worsened by Lisandro Martinez’s season-ending injury. Raphael Varane was also ruled out for a number of weeks after the game.

However, despite being without his two first-choice centre-backs, Ten Hag will welcome back a number of players to the squad.

Marcus Rashford will be the most exciting inclusion after the Englishman missed out on the last two games, which included the first leg. The forward has scored 28 goals for The Reds this term.

Defensive duo Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw also return to the squad after recent injuries. Shaw could be set to start in the centre of defence depending on his level of fitness.

Marcel Sabitzer is also travelling to Spain. He was replaced by Christian Eriksen in the line-up against Nottingham Forest on Sunday after suffering a groin injury in the warm-up before the game but has recovered in good time.

With Tom Heaton still out of action, 19-year-old Radek Vitek makes the trip with the squad as the third-choice goalkeeper.

Anthony Martial has made five appearances in a row after months of injury problems and could make a significant contribution in this important European tie against the club he was sent on loan last season.

Confirmed Manchester United travelling squad:

Goalkeepers: David De Gea, Jack Butland, Radek Vitek.

Defenders: Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Fred, Zidane Iqbal, Marcel Sabitzer.

Forwards: Antony, Anthony Elanga, Anthony Martial, Facundo Pellistri, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Wout Weghorst.
