Chido Obi-Martin congratulates Man United starlet after key Old Trafford moment
Chido Obi-Martin has congratulated one Manchester United starlet following a key moment in his career at Old Trafford.
Obi-Martin was considered one of Arsenal’s top academy prospects after scoring 32 goals for their Under-18 team last season.
However, he declined to sign a scholarship deal with the club, opting to explore other opportunities, including a visit to Manchester United’s Carrington training ground.
In late July, multiple reports confirmed he had agreed to join United, with the possibility of breaking into the first team being a key factor in his decision.
Since then, updates on the 16-year-old forward have been scarce, with no official announcement from either the player or the club.
However, there are no concerns surrounding his move, with fresh updates explaining that it is a matter of time until the Premier League ratification process is completed for his deal.

Another player who also knows the situation Obi-Martin is currently going through is 17-year-old winger Samuel Lusale.
The former Crystal Palace winger agreed to sign with United this summer and had to wait over a month for the move to be completed.
He officially signed for the club this week and signed his contracts at Old Trafford. Shortly afterwards, Lusale took to Instagram to write a message.
“I’m incredibly blessed to have signed my first professional contract with Manchester United,” the youngster wrote.
“There’s still much more work to be done, but it’s a privilege to be part of such an amazing club. A new chapter begins.”
In the comments, Obi-Martin responded to his future teammate, writing, “Congratulations ❤️”
Lusale is expected to join the Under-18s at United alongside fellow new signing James Overy. Obi-Martin is more likely to be involved in the Under-21s due to his excellent season with Arsenal U18s last term.
