Casemiro’s Man United exit moving closer as Erik ten Hag handed ‘long-term deal’ boost
Casemiro’s exit from Manchester United this summer seems to be edging closer as Erik ten Hag is handed a fresh boost regarding his future at the club.
In the last few months, Casemiro has become one of Manchester United‘s most sellable assets this summer with INEOS looking to raise funds ahead of the transfer window.
Alongside Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood, it looks increasingly like Casemiro will be sold to free up further funds to reshape Erik ten Hag‘s current squad. Multiple exits and new signings are expected over the next three months.

According to Spanish outlet Relevo, Casemiro has acknowledged on several occasions to those closest to him that his future is linked to the Saudi Pro League.
The report explains that he will wait to find out how important he will be in United’s plans for next season, as he is not entirely happy with his current role in the squad, with the idea of playing in Saudi Arabia is a possibility that is playing on his mind increasingly.
It is said that the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund would not hesitate to offer a “considerable amount” to ensure that he arrives in the league this summer. With each passing day, it looks more and more like Casemiro has now played his final game for the Old Trafford club.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag’s future at United, although it is currently unclear, looks like it is edging towards the idea that the Dutchman will stay in charge for the coming season.
According to a new report, United officials are considering keeping Ten Hag for the next campaign. They have notified representatives of potential replacements that they have not ruled out the possibility.
In light of this, The Athletic has revealed that Kieran McKenna, one of those potential replacements, is set to sign a new long-term contract with his current club, Ipswich Town, following their promotion to the Premier League.
McKenna was considered a genuine option to replace Ten Hag this summer as well as being a frontrunner for both the jobs at Chelsea and Brighton, but he is set to now try and prove his worth in the Premier League by continuing with the club he has managed to back to back promotions from League One to England’s first division.
This will be a boost to the manager that, with INEOS trying to assess if there are any current options better than Ten Hag out there to manage the Old Trafford club, a potential replacement is now set to be off the market for the time being.
