Casemiro opens up on “highest possible level” Manchester United under Sir Jim Ratcliffe
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has assured fans of the club that Sir Jim Ratcliffe will take the club back to the top of the football pyramid.
On the 24th of December last year, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS acquired a 25% stake in the club, taking over the football operations of the club.
Since then, Ratcliffe and co have worked quickly, bringing in Manchester City’s Omar Berrada as United’s new Chief Executive Officer, as well as discussing transfer targets with United manager Erik ten Hag.

Meanwhile, Casemiro, an integral part of United’s Carabao Cup-winning campaign last season, has told CNN that Ratcliffe, 71, will play a vital role in trophies back to Old Trafford.
“I think with his [Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s] winning mentality and his wins in all sports, it’s always very important to have people that want to continue growing,” Casemiro stated.
“With his experience, he’ll return Manchester United to the highest possible level. We are very hungry to learn, grow and take the club to the highest place.”
United last won a Premier League title over a decade ago, this season the club are languishing in 8th place, sixteen points behind league leaders Liverpool.
With that in mind, fans of the Red Devils will be hoping that Ratcliffe and INEOS will be able to work quickly to fix the issues at the club.
It’s a pursuit that Casemiro has assured fans of the club is the collective goal of all involved at the club, noting: “We all want, [to] return the club to being the best in the world.”
