Bruno Fernandes delivers three-word assessment of Man United teammate after Barnsley win, Amad Diallo agrees
Bruno Fernandes has delivered a three-word assessment of one Manchester United teammate after the 7-0 win over Barnsley.
Marcus Rashford confidently put Manchester United ahead, with Antony extending the lead from the penalty spot.
Alejandro Garnacho added a third just before halftime, giving the Reds a solid advantage.
In the second half, both Rashford and Garnacho netted their second goals of the match, while Christian Eriksen wrapped things up with a brace.
Erik ten Hag’s side delivered an impressive performance, securing a comfortable win and advancing to the cup’s fourth round.
Garnacho thriving
Garnacho started for just the second time this season and managed to get four goal contributions–two goals and two assists–on his way to an impressive display.
The Argentine has seven goals or assists so far this season in around 250 minutes of play—he is currently averaging a goal contribution every 36 minutes.
Of course, it is early in the season, and there is still much work to do, but Garnacho looks like he could have a standout campaign.
With the chance for more rotation, he can have an impact from the bench or by starting games.
Bruno’s message to Garnacho
The Argentine took to Instagram after the game to celebrate the victory. “What a night at Old Trafford!🤷🏼♂️✨⚽️⚽️🅰️🅰️,” he wrote.
In the comments, club captain Bruno Fernandes was quick to respond with a simple three-word message that many fans will agree with, “What a player 🔥”
Amad Diallo provided a similar response, writing: “L E G E N D 🫡”, while the likes of Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo and Joshua Zirkzee also wrote messages.
They will all be eager to build on the latest two victories when they travel to face Crystal Palace away from home on the weekend.
