Bruno Fernandes has not been spotted in the latest set of Manchester United training photos following injury news against Newcastle United.
Manchester United bounced back with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Newcastle United at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening, securing three vital Premier League points and lifting the spirits of fans and players alike.
Kobbie Mainoo kicked off the scoring for United, displaying his burgeoning talent and setting the tone for the evening. Amad Diallo doubled the lead with a well-executed goal, highlighting his growing importance to the squad.

Rasmus Højlund added a third with a clinical finish, cementing the win and giving Erik ten Hag’s team a much-needed boost in their final home game of the season.
Despite the victory, the match wasn’t without its challenges. Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon and Lewis Hall both found the net, exposing some defensive vulnerabilities in the United lineup. These goals ensured that the Red Devils had to dig deep to secure the win, emphasising the areas that still need attention.
This hard-fought win was especially significant as it came on the heels of consecutive defeats to Crystal Palace and Arsenal, which had placed considerable pressure on the team. The resilience and attacking flair demonstrated in this match provided a timely morale boost as the season nears its conclusion.

Bruno Fernandes was a man who was in fine form once again during the Newcastle win, grabbing an assist for Højlund’s goal and securing himself the Player of the Match award at Old Trafford once again.
However, in the latest set of training photos released by the club from Friday morning, Fernandes was not spotted in any of the 20 pictures. None of the first-team players who started in the Newcastle fixture trained, but a slight worry remains over Fernandes considering his current injured state.
UtdDistrict revealed on Wednesday evening that Fernandes was not fully fit going into the game and once again played through an injury, but he wanted to make himself available for the final game at Old Trafford.
Fernandes is currently suffering from a broken hand that he sustained during United’s FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City and missed the two recent fixtures against Crystal Palace and Arsenal due to an ankle problem.
It remains to be seen whether Fernandes will be able to play against Brighton on Sunday. Fans will hope he will be fit to start against Manchester City the following weekend.
