Manchester United could sell Facundo Pellistri at the end of the season following his prospective loan move to La Liga side Granada.

Pellistri, 22, has played 14 games so far this term for United but only three of those have been starts.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the winger is set to join Granada on a loan move after the Old Trafford club and Erik ten Hag provided the green light for the deal.

However, the latest information from MailOnline has stated that the Spanish club will try to sign the Uruguayan widemen at the end of the season if his loan move is confirmed before the deadline.

It was added that Erik ten Hag is known to be concerned about losing Omari Forson, with the youngster’s contract running out at the end of the season.

Forson has made two appearances for United, both coming in the FA Cup this term. He was brought on ahead of Pellistri and Amad Diallo last weekend against Newport County.

The academy starlet has rejected an offer from United, and it was added that out of the two wingers, Ten Hag feels that Forson may have a brighter future than Pellistri.

Pellistri was signed by United in the summer of 2020 from Peñarol and has spent time on loan at Alavés since then.

His official debut for the club did not come until January last year. The winger has since made a total of 24 appearances for United.
