Brazilian reports confirm Casemiro injury with Manchester United worried
Manchester United have been dealt an injury blow as Brazil reports confirm Casemiro’s injury after the 1-1 draw against Venezuela.
Casemiro was substituted in the 79th minute of Brazil’s 1-1 draw against Venezuela, leaving Manchester United fans worried after the Seleção Canarinha manager admitted that the player had asked to come off due to an ankle problem.
Although there was initial hope that Casemiro may be okay after he was spotted with the squad on Saturday, reports from Brazil have now dampened the news.

Globo have revealed that Casemiro has, in fact, twisted his ankle and that it is badly swollen.
He continued to play despite the pain on Friday against Venezuela but was eventually substituted due to the injury.
The report explains that he did not train on Saturday, and instead stayed at the team hotel undergoing physiotherapy. and will undergo an examination on Sunday to assess the extent of the injury.
Manchester United are significantly worried about their injury crisis and Casemiro’s addition to the list will only increase this – they have launched an investigation into their injury problems so far this season.
The club are speculating that last season’s domestic and international calendar has worn out their players and that there may be a pattern to the problems that they can identify and solve.
